Relationships are anything but plain and simple. They are work. Patience. Resilience. They are thriving. Improving. Changing. Evolving. They are a born of compromise. Appreciation. Apprehension. Alternation. Passion. Relationships are ironically, plain and simple, too. They’re plain and simple when an equal equilibrium of all types of warming, powerful love with the right person is present. At all the right times. In all the right places. Gradually, and then all at once. Relationships are anything but plain and simple, but then again, they are plain and simple when it takes just those things to make it your kind of right.
p.s. On Tuesday, my mom and I were talking about relationships-how they start, how they evolve, how they last, and how some can even dissolve. Even though any kind of relationship is a risk, life is better with someone willing to grow and encourage growth side by side with you. So here’s to relationships-the loving, the hurting, the healing, and the growing!
