Today, I felt like a working woman. I wore a zebra print pencil skirt. Today, I felt like a working woman. I wore a tucked in suede shirt. Today, I felt like a working woman. I wore soft, subtle, spring make-up. Today, I felt like a working woman. I wore a blue purse. Today, I felt like a working woman wearing manicured hands and feet, half-sitting, half-standing behind a desk, compiling and collating packets, having conversation, and investing myself in a nurturing project with a strict deadline.

p.s. Today was my first day of work in 2 years (or rather, 2 summers) and it felt great to work at a place where the community is super welcoming and loving since day 1. Thanks to Morniningside Center, there’s never a dull moment. Here’s to loving the feeling of being a working woman!
