The tall, ancient, intricate buildings. The sunsets above waters that made me question beauty. My family’s laughter so insanely loud. My family’s food made with love and appreciation. Outings that surprised me. Convenience because a walk across the street meant 50 cents cheese doodle o’s for my stomach. Car rides in which the music blasted, the wheels glided, and every conversation you could have imagined happened.

p.s. On Friday August 26th, I was packing up the rest of my things to go back to school the following morning. I thought about the things I’d miss the most. I believe the car rides won. Here’s to missing home and car rides to, back, away, and from home.
